Step 1
Open History
In the Trading 212 app, open Portfolio and choose History at the bottom of the screen.
Files to prepare
For account details and the VMI process, read the Trading 212 declaration guide. This page covers files from the Invest account.
- History CSV for the tax year — required for money added, withdrawals, dividends, interest and annual activity.
- December 2024 Activity Statement PDF — relevant when the investment account held assets before 2025-01-01.
- History CSV files through 2024-12-31 — useful to reconstruct the purchase price (cost basis) when the account had pre-2025 holdings.
Export a History CSV for each required year
A History CSV is the main structured source. Export every required year separately, then upload the yearly exports together.
Step 2
Create a report
Use New report in the top-right corner. It prepares the CSV used for transactions, money added, withdrawals, dividends and interest.
Step 3
Choose the period
Export the full tax year, for example 2025-01-01 to 2025-12-31. Trading 212 exports at most one year per History CSV, so export each earlier year separately if historical holdings are needed.
Step 4
Download the CSV
Wait for the report to complete, then choose Download. Keep all required year files together.
Download the Activity Statement PDF
In the app, go to Documents → Account statements → Activity statements. Keep the Invest account selected, choose Monthly and December 2024, then download the PDF.
